Concho Valley Afternoon

“Concho Valley Afternoon” took shape at a lovely spot on the North Concho River on the back end of O.H. Ivie Lake at San Angelo State Park at an area called Eagles Nest.  Texas has many Mesquite trees and this one on the warm early October day was just starting to realize that fall was coming.  In and of itself it is just another tree, but cast against the century it has been growing along the river it has seen much.
