Across Balmorhea Lake

While visiting Balmorhea State Park and dipping into the cool clear waters of Solomon Springs, I ventured into the countryside to see Balmorhea Lake, which is fed by the aforementioned spring.  Wonderful lake at the base of the rising Trans-Pecos mountain range in the distance, it made for a pleasant morning and a pleasant painting
