Sunset on Galveston Bay

There are no new adjectives which express the sunrises and the sunsets when on the coast.  Texas has a very long coastline with the Gulf of Mexico.  So it comes as no surprise that I was taken by the brilliance of the setting sun on Galveston bay.  I spent a week at Galveston Island State Park, which is located adjacent to Jamacia Beach, a small community south of the city of Galveston.  Half the park was 100 yards from the surf and the other half was in the low tidal flats of the bay.  Both spectacular from a naturalist, photographer's and painter's point of view.
