Flagstaff Afternoon

After a torturous ride up I -17 into Flagstaff AZ, I pulled into a KOA campground and was given a spot that backed up to the National Forest.  I took a quick nap and pulled out the paint stuff that late afternoon and rendered the hillside and forest that was my campground. Nice afternoon in Flagstaff; cool, bright and with the smell of pine in the air.  This work is part of the 2015 plein aire series - Bartké
