Recent Studio Works
Recent is a relative term. It could mean yesterday or it could mean within the last dozen or so years. When one realizes that one’s paintings are starting to comprise decades then in relative terms it is the latter. Most significantly, my “Recent” works represent a change in direction and artistic maturity that has become my focus. The body of this work comes from the studio and is generally large, detailed and time consuming in their creation. They represent a lifetime of evolving exploration into the psychological, metaphysical and spiritual realms of expression rendered across the dimensional framework of illusion-delusion and conscious-unconscious realities captured with color and form. One seeks not to create images without purpose but pursues provoking renderings of transcendent insight. If the work speaks: Listen.
